Michelle and I went to the AZ Renaissance Festival today – this is an event that we always go to at least once during the time it is here. The people in costume, food and shows are all something that you don’t see anywhere else that I have been. People are always very open to having their picture taken which makes it a great place to take pictures of interesting people. Don Carlos is my Week 6 submission, he was walking through the crowds and many people were asking to get a picture taken with him. I walked up to him, introduced myself and he was more than happy to pose for a photograph.

Right before we left we checked out the show by a new act at the festival this year: Barely Balanced. They do a comedy show with acrobatics and some of the stunts they performed were pretty amazing. Here is a picture of “small” breathing fire – I was pretty pleased how well the fire turned out!

I am sure I will be back at the Renaissance Festival before their season in Arizona is finished. If you have not had a chance to check it out I highly recommend it!
