My photograph for week 9 is of my friend Anita who competed in the figure category at the Natural Western USA Championships held at the Mesa Arts Center in Mesa, AZ. I actually shot at this event last year for another friend and this time I was a bit better prepared for the low lighting conditions inside.

Here is my favorite from the indoor shots and is my Week 9 photograph.

This shot was taken outdoors in front of the Mesa Arts Center after the competition.

Anita has been training for this event for almost a year and the discipline required to compete at this level is something I am pretty sure I could never do  In addition to all of the training Anita did the design work on her costume. Congratulations Anita, we are all very proud of you!!
